Day 1: Ninh Binh Tour – Bai Dinh/Hoa Lu – Trang An – Mua Cave

Our guide will meet you at your hotel/stay to begin the Ninh Binh tour. Enjoy a 110 km scenic drive through the verdant landscape of the countryside with a short break along the way.
Option 1:

Arrive at Bai Dinh Complex, the largest pagoda in Vietnam and Southeast Asia. Set scenically at the foot of Dinh Mountain, it offers breathtaking views of the exquisite river valley and surrounding limestone karsts. During the Ninh Binh tour, you will visit national highlights, including 500 stone statues of “La Han” (Arhats) and two massive bronze bells weighing 27 and 36 tons. Don’t miss the Quan Yin statue with thousands of arms and eyes and the Gautama Buddha statue.
Option 2:

Visit Hoa Lu Ancient Citadel with the Dinh King Temple, dating back to the 17th century.

Enjoy lunch at our restaurant, featuring delicious local cuisine.

Depart for the Trang An Grottoes, an outstanding natural wonder featuring majestic limestone mountains rising dramatically from the rice paddy fields. Explore pristine mystical valleys, fresh water ponds, and jungle landscapes during your Ninh Binh tour.
Board a traditional sampan for a gentle rowing trip down the exquisite river through numerous caves, including Lam Cave, Vang Cave, Dai Cave, Thanh Truot Cave, and visit Cao Sơn Temple, Suoi Tien Temple, and Vu Lam Temple.

Visit Mua Cave and embark on an amazing trek up to the top of Ngoa Long Mountain. Enjoy spectacular views of the rice valley and the expansive natural scenery.

Check into your homestay or bungalow. Enjoy free time to relax, read books, or swim before dinner around 19:00. After dinner, relax at the pool view bar. (The tour guide will not be available until the next afternoon.)
