ITINERARY
07:30 – 08:00: Our guide will meet you at your hotel/accommodation and start the 110km easy drive through the lush countryside. There will be a short break along the way.
Option 1: 10:30 – Arrive at Bai Dinh Complex, the largest pagoda not only in Vietnam but also in Southeast Asia. Scenically set at the foothill of Dinh Mountain, the complex is surrounded by stunning views of the river valley below and the surrounding limestone karsts. You will visit highlights including: 500 stone statues of “La Han” (Arhats), 2 enormous bronze bells (one weighing 27 tons and the other 36 tons), the Quan Yin statue with thousands of arms and eyes, and the Gautama Buddha statue.
Option 2:
10:30 – Visit Hoa Lu Ancient Citadel with the Dinh King Temple dating back to the 17th century.
12:00 – Enjoy lunch at our restaurant with great local cuisine.
13:00 – Embark on an adventurous cycling tour to Bich Dong and Thung Nham Bird Valley, featuring spectacular mountains and lush green rice fields. Begin an amazing boat trip to visit Fairy Water Cave, then move to the other side of the island for boating to observe various bird species such as storks, pelicans, and herons.
16:30 – Return to the bus and head back to Hanoi.
18:30 – 19:00 – Drop-off at your hotel/accommodation. The Ninh Binh tour ends.
